Monday on Lundy

Just a couple of daylight hours in the morning before we were whisked back to the mainland in the helicopter.
I walked/jogged down to the harbour/landing bay facing an extremely cold windchill. Spectacular seas and heaps of interesting flotsam, I foraged around until the tide came in enough to encourage me to take action and gain elevation to avoid drowning:)) Jogging back up the slope to the village warmed up the extremities before packing up my belongings which were collected by the island porter.
I was on the first flight out together with four others of whom I had made great friends with during my stay.
Back to Amadeus before a visit to the gym and swimming pool which helped to smooth out my grumbling back and shoulder.
A lovely reuniting experience with Dippy after four days apart, he’d become a part of a four dog pack and had been very happy in their company.
Smoked ham and rice carbonara for supper before making up the bed and Zzzzzz.
