View from the washing up bowl

My mood being extremely low, I decided to do the most unpleasant household chore I could think of: cleaning the extremely difficult-to-reach window in the kitchen. Aargh - it was as horrible as I remembered, but doing it did lift the mood slightly. I didn't photograph it too closely, as there are undoubtedly still smears, but it's improved the view over the washing up no end.

Later we went on a very unlikely visit to OT to eat at P. Express, as I had unearthed a £10 off voucher that I'd acquired months ago and then mislaid. Used to eat their pizzas quite often when their branch was open on the Shore, but not since. I was surprised that the voucher was still valid, and we enjoyed the experience.
