Iconic….

On Thursday we visited the stonemason who is looking after my Mil RIP headstone and grave surroundings etc.
We paid a visit to the grave as we always do.

And in the same graveyard this simple Headstone marks the spot where Sinéad O’Connor is laid to rest…. most of you will probably know she was and will remain one of our greatest female singers and music artist ever……who led a difficult and turbulent life and died way too young.
I like to stop by and say a prayer that hopefully she’s at peace now.
On a beautiful sunny February morning it is a peaceful spot on the outskirts of Dublin.

Extras ….sometimes I wish I was this tall….!!
And with a lovely craft shop in the area how could I resist…..!!!?????…

Oh and Blip have just said this is my 2500 entry…!
I am of course Blipping from way back at the very start of Blipfoto..(just not everyday) like a lot of the Blip legends I’ve come to know over the years.
Such a pleasure to know you on here and to have met a few.
To follow your photos and lives here is a privilege.
And has kept me going to various difficult times.
And to the people who keep Blip ‘ up and running’ a huge massive ‘Thank you’…we wouldn’t continue to have this privilege without you…!
And always in Remembrance of the people we’ve lost along the way too.
