The View from the Corner
22.7C bright and breezy.
Morning grocery shopping.
Before we took Maeve the Deerhound for her walk today Apothecary7 and I did some hedge trimming. We have a few conifers which provide a windbreak at the corner of the front garden. They happen to be at the corner of the street too, so they have to be kept reasonably neat so drivers can see to the left at the T-junction. I had charged the hedge trimmer battery and it had just enough power to do a trim.
We took Maeve for a walk before lunch. Usual route without the beach section. My blip is the view over the field from near the bottom of the bridle path. I liked the dappled light on the trees and the bright light on the crop.
The Women's British Open is being played at St Andrews, on the Old Course, and has been on telly. Some excellent golf and nice to see the course without all the stands that appear for the Open Championship.
