It Was This Or A Slice Of Leek

This morning at breakfast SWMBO had another huge nosebleed.
It was sufficiently serious to warrant a trip to the A&E unit.
We were there by 9am and got out at about 12.30.
Nothing was done other than give her some kind of ointment.

I spent a short time in the garage in the afternoon and finished turning the Elm dish then gave it a coat of sealer so - hopefully - it will get finished tomorrow.
I also re-turned a bowl and a horrible goblet before turning a very shallow dish for SWMBO to use as an oversized coaster for her cup of tea to sit on (the one she uses just now on the arm of her chair is particularly stable).

When we were preparing the dinner I realised that I hadn't taken any pictures - so I grabbed the camera and took a picture of the leek I had just 'topped & tailed. But I thought I could do better, so I took some shots of the hand made juicer/pulper we bought in Taormina on Sicily a few years ago and which gets used on a regular basis.
