Another Pink Rose

I've not ventured too far today, amongst other things too much sport on TV. And mrsfb is still taking it easy and resting her bruised feet, so that hopefully she will be able to do some walking next week in Fowey.

This rose by the back door has been trying to emerge for a couple of weeks now. Meanwhile the yellow narcissi that I put outside mid January are still thriving, despite being knocked over twice by various storms.

I had the macro lens on the camera from yesterday when there was a sudden call for help from the kitchen. Mrsfb was making a cup of camomile and orange tea and found it was full of tiny beetles! I looked it up - cigarette beetles, who knew. Anyway I took some photos, we ought to report it to the well known supplier. They were in a sealed tin so must have come with the teabags, best before August 2026!
