Bill and Maddy were off to meet her brother and his family today, so Beano had a day out with his aunts and uncles. Fitting the four of us plus huge dog in their Mini was a bit interesting.

We drove to Bowness and had a walk by the lake (lots of digging on the little beaches for Beano), and Paul got an ice cream because he was on holiday. Wandered back towards town and had a drink, then picked up some supplies and headed home.

The others had just got home too, so before we got too settled we went for a walk to the Drunken Duck for a pint (apart from Matt who stayed for a nap). We sat on the benches opposite the pub for the view, which gradually disappeared into the clouds the longer we sat there.

The boys all cooked a roast for dinner while we watched a movie. They smashed it, a very good roast indeed. Played a round of Sequence afterwards which got very competitive.
