Was woken up by Beano this morning, I obviously hadn’t properly shut the bedroom door when I went for an early morning wee, because suddenly he was very excitedly jumping on the bed. He had lots of cuddles then set off to wake up Paul and Elly as well.

Tidied the house and packed up, hit the road at 10. Bye cute little cottage. We stopped in Ambleside for a coffee and some breakfast by the lake before we headed back home.

Long drive as expected but felt quicker than the way up, home by 5. We got a takeaway for tea.
