Butcherbird
I believe this is the grey Butcherbird. Either it's mate or offspring was just below it on a tangle of electricity wires so I opted for the upper story one which has just spied something to it's right. Those that know them know that they have magical songs and I love having them in the area. They don't pay the least heed to Maggy and me, even in Spring but will dive bomb unknown pedestrians. Just as bad as Magpies.
It turned out quite grey now, not sure whether there is rain coming or not, it seems to be sitting in a ring catching the inland and bits of Sydney with us outside the ring.
I've been a domestic goddess in the morning and then lunch and cards. Just the sort of day I like. Oh and I finished the book this morning and am looking around for the next one. You will be pleased to know that Maggy didn't have to beg for her food this evening either.
