The Jefferson Memorial

It was so frigid out tonight with the wind and the rain. We were hoping to walk over to the memorial, but weren’t dressed for the weather. This is shot from the parking lot at the Tidal Basin. 
The construction for the new and improved sea wall around the Tidal Basin has taken over all the parking at West Potomac Park. 
There are overhead signs on Rt 695 that crosses over DC that warn of severe traffic delays on Monday, February 10. That is the day that Federal Government teleworkers are to report in person.
In 2023, DC had the 2nd worst traffic in the country. I am guessing that this  Executive Order will firmly secure our first place as the worst place in the USA to commute.
