Distillery

Enjoyed a visit to the world’s only vertical distillery - Port of Leith. Now, I must admit I thought it was the gin place but no, whisky and no real product until 2032! However, a great tour, got to taste the early immature whisky (effectively ‘moonshine’) and a few sherries & port whose barrels are used for the final product.

Beautiful views from the 8th floor bar but my goodness the Ocean Terminal area is a mess  - extra shows the Royal Yacht Brittania next to demolition.
