Now where’s my head gone?

I spotted this deer when I looked up from the kitchen sink this morning and I took several photos of it. This was the best. :-(
Strangely, when I transferred the photo to the ipad, Siri identified the animal as an American bison. I guess that’s what a headless red deer must look like.
We have had another beautiful sunny day with endless blue sky but also chilly. It was cold enough last night to freeze the water along the edge of the loch. As I write this at 10.30pm, it is -2C outside so maybe I’ll get a chance to photograph the frozen loch tomorrow.
We had a work party at the community orchard to prune the apple trees so we got a good dose of vitamin D while out in the full sun.
