Lone Swan

I had a ninety minute bell ringing lesson in our local church, Goodrich (Herefordshire UK) and somehow managed to break the 'stay' - a rare occurrence I'm told!  At least there was another five bells to continue with. A call to a specialist will be needed to replace it.

After dropping a load of clothes into two charity shops in nearby Ross on Wye, and a trip to our local council recycling centre, I took a detour home through Pontshill where I spotted this lone swan on a small pond and stopped to take its photo'.

Cardiff City FC played Stoke City at 3pm in the 4th Round of The FA Cup. We threw away a two goal lead to go 2-3 down, and equalised to make it 3-3. Despite ten minutes additional time, then half hour extra time it was still 3-3. Cardiff won 4-2 on penalties to send us into the last 16 teams in the competition.  A thrilling match.

We're off out with friends and neighbours this evening for a cheap and cheerful meal and drink.
