Stroud
Mid morning I travelled to Gloucester town to collect our refoamed sofa cushions. Afterwards, I saw it was only seven miles to Stroud town centre (Gloucestershire) so headed off to explore it as I haven't been before.
It was nice to see free parking around the town and enjoyed a good hour exploring this old market town (1594AD) with my film camera.
The blipfoto is an aerial view of St Laurence (1279AD) which was rebuilt about 1360 with only the external tower and spire remaining. The photo' shows the town police station behind the spire.
It's been windy and cold all day, so I was glad to go straight home in the warm.
Enjoy your weekend!
