Delivering

This afternoon, Fiona popped by to see how D was doing and to deliver a bottle of Denise’s ginger wine. Denise kindly makes me a bottle of this delicious (non alcoholic) beverage every winter, for which I am very thankful. I’m going to have a wee glass of it while I make the tea tonight.

Fiona found us all in the garden - I was wheeling a barrow of logs, D was on his daily walk round the garden on crutches, and Jess was helping us both. She was very excited to see Fiona and thought we might be off on a walk with Archie - but not this time. Fi stayed for some tea and chat and went away with a painting by D :-)
