Also honouring M, I guess, who waters and nurtures and cares for the house plants. I do the garden, which benefits from extended periods of neglect. And the photos, so we can remember both at their best.
Five degrees this morning - feels colder - with slanting rain but J says 'I haven't had exercise all week' and so we find ourselves soaking, freezing and playing tennis. Inevitably, it ends up being great fun, though we don't play the full two hours..
