Leaf Level

It felt much colder in the wind than the thermometer would have led me to believe. I went back to the leaf I photographed yesterday, with the idea of showing it in its environment.

Getting low and close, I needed to focus stack, but only two shots. Pity it's an oak leaf and a willow tree, but I was trying out an idea.

I think there's too much space in between the leaf and the tree to count as a success.. Next time I might try a focal length blend to pull the tree forward.
