Another musical biopic - Maria, with Angelina Jolie singing as Maria Callas. Not possible, surely, just as I thought Timothée Chalamet couldn't possibly sing Dylan, but did. But in this film, Jolie's own voice, opera-trained for the role, was blended with recordings of Callas. Although I had some difficulty with the structure of the film, the voice was hugely impressive. I could do with a lower-tech version of that myself for our choir performances.

A bit of a shame that the picture that was photo-bombed by a car was better than the photo I was trying to take...
