Archipelagogo

Today it was very icy, -4 degrees apparently.  It was very cold when I got in lastnight but I didn't expect to have to scrape so much ice from the car windscreen.

I went to art at the Qube in Oswestry.  For the second week running there's been no heating in the building.  The staff put two fan heaters in our room but they're not adequate to heat it effectively. Unfortunately the landlord lives in London as isn't bothered about the building.

There's a fantastic exhibition there at the moment.  It's called Archipelagogo and is a collection of imaginary felt people and creatures by the "felt mistress" Louise Evans.  They're so clever and beautifully made, she has a wonderful imagination!  There were so many great characters there that it was difficult to choose some for the collage.

She has a work partner who had complimentary paintings but I didn't have time to look at them properly as I had to get to the gym for my class.  Perhaps a blip for another time.

I have blipped yesterday's visit to Conwy where I photographed a starling murmuration - I was too tired to face sorting photos when I got in last night!
