The Sun Always Shines On TV

Which is a bit of a bugger in the summer, when we can only watch the telly in the afternoon/evening with the lounge curtains fully drawn. Didn’t expect it to be a problem in early February though!
But I’m not complaining. After the weather we’ve had recently, a bit of sunshine is a most welcome sight. It was even quite warm if you were directly in it. And the lack of cloud has highlighted the fact that it is definitely staying lighter for longer now - maybe Spring is not too far away.
With a couple of people calling in sick, tonight’s rehearsal has been declared “optional”. I think I’ll go because our director has suggested a deep dive into our characters. Obviously, as she wrote the play, she will have ideas, but I think it will be interesting to see if we cast agree with those thoughts now we have had a couple of weeks “getting to know” our characters.
And there’s nothing on the telly tonight anyway…
