Hello Sunshine
A good day today, and according to the forecast we'll have good weather without rain for the next ten days or more! Wow!
I've spent a few hours in the garden today - a bit chilly, but dry and windless, so I'm not complaining. The ground is still very wet though and I've been sliding about on the slope pulling off dead fern fronds and trying to pull out brambles. I really need some spiked shoes! Very quiet down by the road - just the odd car passing by and a few dog-walkers. From the nearby Benvoullin Woods the sound of woodpeckers livened up the silence.
All the fern fronds were raked up and wheeled down to the leaf mould heap. By 3.30 I'd had enough and retired to the deck and sat out in the sun for a while with a book. Reasonably warm too!
