A thoroughly delightful afternoon

A couple of weeks agony, I blipped some snowdrops, with the promise of blipping Lady Ann Fraser’s garden, which apparently is beautiful at this time of year, with many varieties of the aforementioned flowers. 

Well, today, I popped up to see her private garden, as it’s open for a few hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays in February. I was certainly not disappointed, as the garden is beautiful, especially so in today’s lovely weather.

I was also speaking to Lady Ann’s husband, Sir Charles, a sprightly 97 year old and an absolute hoot, as well as a gentleman. He was saying that he and Lady Ann have lived in the house for over 68 years. 

All in all, a lovely afternoon.
