Nest building time

A wonderful sparkly morning, perfect to visit the RSPB site to see the herons building their nests.

Also a couple of extras. How many can you count in the tree picture ? 

It was quite busy because there was a local tv report about the great work to attract bitterns back to our area, and people were hoping to catch sight of one. Personally, I’ve not been lucky yet, although Merlin (and I) have heard them. 

So lucky to live round here.
