Changes……

……some changes have occurred in the section of Taylor River that I refer to as the “Pooled Area”. Before I went on holiday in mid-January the water had almost disappeared from that area. Subsequently contractors have moved in with heavy machinery and dug out a long channel in the shingle allowing water to rise up from the depths. It was great to see the water again albeit it is looking a bit murky. However fish and eels will be happy. But I wouldn’t swim in it myself. And there is the bonus of a large pile of shingle sitting on the edge of the channel.
