Visit with Tara

Her mother was one of my best friends from 1979 until her death in 2007, when Tara was just 12.  In addition to being a friend Dawn was my meditation buddy, going on retreat and sitting together regularly. After Tara was born she moved into a house near me, and we had gate access to each other’s back yards. I still miss her.

Tara was here visiting her father after completing her PhD in Bioengineering at Emory University.. I gave her a shawl that belonged to Dawn, and sent her up to the attic to look at the old poster collection. She chose this one of Harvey Milk to take back to Atlanta.
