Full Circle?
WAY back in the mists of history Early teens or earlier we used to take off as a family into the country around home.
One day I left the road for awander along a Beck side. I can't, after so many decadesremember the entire episode - BUT - do remember Mam ID-ing it as Green Hellebore Looked up tonight to find
"Helleborus viridis, commonly called green hellebore, is a species of flowering plant in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae, native to Central and Western Europe, including southern England".
I'd not call Cumberland, 20 or so miles down from Scotland "Southern; yet there they were. I since found them within Bothel Village, but last time I looked in Bothel couldn't find them.
Full Circle? YUP! There's very little similarity between this and them - BUT - I was mildly aqmused/amazed to see the breeders have finally come out with a Green Flower.
Two successive weeks @ same due to some old Pillock losing his keys last time there.
