It was a morning of odd jobs. Put things I’d left around in their right places, sorted the recycling, unblocked an outside drain and more.

The weather turned dull around midday but the forecast was for more sunshine in the afternoon.

I took three bags of garden waste to the recycling site . . . two have been sitting for months.
