Another supermarket shop, this time in Kendal and mostly for store cupboard essentials. I put fuel in the car too though it was only 1p a litre cheaper than the local petrol stations.

Horrid weather and so many puddles to drive through.

Today’s till assistant was smiling and polite and the driver of the blue van that followed me much of the way home made my journey much easier by keeping a good distance behind.

The rain stopped about 1.30 and there was some blue sky later but I didn’t go out again.
