Tiny Tuesday: "From the Kitchen"

I had to backblip this, as Tuesday was a busy day. Our overnight flight back from Toronto to Gatwick went well, as did our train journey from there to Newcastle. But then I only had time for a shower, a quick unpack and a bite to eat (and grabbing this quick photo for my blip of course) before going out to camera club where our latest competition for digital images was being judged.

The judge was one we've had before, who unashamedly "calls a spade a spade" - but he always gives good hints and advice so we've already decided to book him again at some future date. I had 2 entries, one of which didn't do well (unfairly I thought, but then I'm biased!) but the other (of 3 Icelandic horses) took 3rd place out of 58 entries so I (almost) forgave him about the other one!

So my TT blip (for cathy1947's challenge) from the kitchen is a little device for peeling oranges. As you can see it's been well used!
