When I was a kid I read everything including apocalyptic novels. 

How did I wind up in an apocalyptic novel?

It’s not even well written.

At 12:42 am overlords sent an email telling people not to come into the office. Foul curses, who reads their email before going to work Monday morning? 

I was off anyway because Karen was trying to have a procedure that she eventually called off because the prep was too hard on her. 

Then they began laying off a new category of employees and we lost some of our best people. So few left. 

With really no notice people managed this protest and Senators and Congresspeople came. I was not there, this is not my picture, but I thought you’d be more interested in it than anything I took. 

They did not fire our gender person (yet). They did not fire me (yet). The way people knew they’d been laid off or put on admin leave was because they could not get in their email. A whole bunch of people, outside our initiative but in the agency, lost access to their email and are assumed to be on administrative leave.

Many, many people are checking in on me. 

I feel loved. 

I just learned the office is closed tomorrow too.

Ukraine brought home 12 children taken by Russia. “Among the returned children is a 16-year-old girl who lost her mother, a 17-year-old teenager who was issued a summons to the Russian army, and an eight-year-old girl….”

Weapons from the US resumed. ?????
