London

Beautiful sunny day and we had planned a trip to London.  Googled and realised it was Chinese New Year so lots going on in Trafalgar Square.  We missed the parade (maybe next year) but the atmosphere was buzzy and some of the roads were still closed which was nice.  Met No.2 at 12.45 and had a quick beak around the NPG - haven't been since it was refurbished.  However it was such a nice day so we had a wander instead, through the park and the Mall and Horseguards.  Touristy route.  Table booked at restaurant at 3.00 for nice lunch and a few glasses of wine.

Train home and slept in the chair while OH watched something.
