Grey Walk

The day was grey but not raining, so we decided to start with a river walk.  Wet and muddy but I had my sooper dooper welly boots on so was warm and dry.  

Home for a bacon sandwich and then to push the hoover round.  OH visited MIL in the care home (he is very good and goes three or so times each week).  I had a quick trip to Currys to get a new kettle (I had ordered one from Amazon but it was rubbish quality so sent it back).  Also called into M&S for some cake!  Home for a cup of tea and piece of cake and then a bit of sewing while OH watched football.  I had scheduled a call with S in Scotland (when did we 'schedule' phone calls rather than just picking up the phone?). Lovely to chat to her and we are planning a trip in May - just need to work out a route?

Easy cook dinner and a glass of wine (first since Tuesday) and very pedestrian day was done.
