Mono Monday
Thanks for hosting this month Heanku. This bus parks under the green trees in the summer right outside our house before it starts it’s next run around the suburbs. It hadn’t moved since last week and was obviously broken down. Today a huge transporter arrived and a few men took a couple of hours getting the bus onto the truck (see extras for the result). It took up a lot of the street for the morning but hopefully no one was inconvenienced.
I went for an earlier walk before it got too hot outside and rang isbi while I was walking. She is getting on so well after her surgery. I didn’t do much in the garden, just some watering. I also made a physio appointment and got onto one I have met before in my working life, I can’t remember when or where. She remembers my name too. She does some public and some private work and was able to offer a home visit through the health department for no cost. Wow, it is usually quite expensive. There has to be a benefit in getting old. I want to find out the best exercise for my hip up until I see the surgeon next month.
There is record rain in Queensland. Over a metre of rain in 2 days!
