Balancing Act
So, I trekked right across the city today in search of banded demoiselles, one of my favourite creatures, but I drew a blank. Woodhouse Washlands was a Woodhouse Washout! And although there were quite a few butterflies, it was too breezy for macro photography. Instead, I'm going for a swallow on the telegraph wire behind our house. They have been perching there regularly so it only seems fair to give one his day in the Blip Sun. I'm not sure what this one is wrestling with - looks like a bit of a twig. I was also pleased to get a photo of a yellowhammer on the same wire - I hope it will come back and visit the garden - that would be a big first!
