Back of Beyond

A beautiful morning on the North Yorkshire Moors. I took the direct route through Westerdale and Kildale to get to today’s orienteering event on Coate Moor. Single track roads and gated for a section. Glad I didn’t meet too many vehicles along the way.

Some lovely views across to  Roseberry Topping and emerged from the forest to see Captain Cooks monument. A steep physical course but well wort the effort to enjoy the views and exploring the quieter back roads.
