Devastation

Thank you for all your supportive comments. A much more positive day today. The physio is going to work with Richard to try and improve his mobility.

Out for a short run this afternoon. Had a look at the work going on in the castle woods. It has been a favourite dog walking route ever since we moved to Pickering nearly 40 years ago. It is owned by the Duchy of Lancaster. 

What devastation greeted me as I kept my distance. A large number of trees are being felled. The tracked vehicles are churning up the ground walked by many paws and feet.

A bit more work completed in the attic. Along with a boiler service. It’s a year since we had a new boiler. So glad we did. Less energy used and the house is warmer. Even managed to tidy the kitchen whilst Matthew worked in the cellar.
