Hellebore again!

Almost forgot to Blip!
We went to our church this morning.
It was decorated for the Chinese New Year as we have a sizeable group of Cantonese now in the congregation. The Cantonese pastor the church employed to help them, gave the talk.
Afterwards treats were provided to eat, which were of a Cantonese/Chinese origin.
The morning was sunny and bright with a chilly wind.
After lunch I felt quite tired having been up early to make sure I was ready to go to the service, after my usual wakeful time during the night.
I had a welcome rest.
Just after teatime I was watching a new series called “Miss Austen” on BBCiplayer. Not sure what I think of it yet, having read most of her original books. This is a fictional story based on Jane and her sisters.
We had been to see her house in the early autumn last year.
Just catching up a bit with your blips.
When I realised before tea that I hadn’t taken a photo I walked up the garden, just as the sun was beginning to go down with a red orangey glow below the rooftops to the west.
My surviving hellebore had produced another beautiful bloom. Maybe it will do better this year hopefully. It is looking a bit sorry for itself this time.
