Snowdrops at Baddesley Clinton. February 1st,
We set off early this morning to kind of beat the usual rush at Baddesley Clinton National Trust.
Once we were there we walked straightaway up to the old church to see the snowdrops.
Beautiful carpets in the graveyard and some just appearing along the woodland boundary.
I’ve posted some more in extras.
A walk around the grounds followed after a coffee and scone in the Tea room.
We were home again early afternoon and I set off for a walk around the block, deciding to call at our friends’ house on the return leg,
A welcome mug of tea was offered whilst the three of us sat and just enjoyed a chat ( I was there just over a week ago for Afternoon tea for her 80th ) Stephen was in the meantime cooking our lunch for tomorrow,
Once I’d arrived back at home we then went out to our usual pub lunch a little later than usual, at 16:00.
A really good day all round,
And it marked 3 calendar months since my hip operation on November 1st, being February 1st today.
A good way to recognise it.
I’ve actually managed over 6,000 steps today, (accumulated) walking without any crutch.
It feels good!
