Keeping You Posted

Today has all been outdoors, and focused on replacing our water catcher (shelter for lots of garden stuff).
Over 10 years ago I erected 4 posts and screwed some corrugated sheets to the top. Adding a gutter allowed us to collect rainwater to use on our garden area, which is away from the house and a hosepipe.

The posts have rotted through along with the roof supports, and, after several repairs and botches, it is time to replace water catcher 1.

My Blip is the end of today's work, and this is fourth and last post to be fixed in place. Tomorrow will be fixing the new sheets to the new supports atop the new posts.  The current roof sheets have cracked but will now form a side wall for rain catcher 2.

The thumbnail is of the special spirit level that helps get the posts straight. Less than £4 and worth every penny!
