Easy Sunday

L collected me this morning for a Sunday morning swim at Shandwick Beach. We were 8 or 9, joined by a couple of people from the Port Paddlers. The light was lovely and the water was crispy. I took this on the beach after the swim.

Back home, I set to vacuuming the place and generally clearing up, in advance of our visitors. When they didn't arrive as expected, I sent H a message....It seems we had some crossed wires around when we were meeting up both in Tain and later this month in Edinburgh, but they were here within an hour, and we had a lovely convivial afternoon over a late lunch and some drinks. Luckily they hadn't had lunch and because they'd taken a fairly long walk they were very hungry. That's all you can ask of guests: come hungry!
