In a dark corner of the garden
I woke early, felt fine and was up and about in no time. I was not really surprised when I suddenly felt exhausted. It was a long, hard journey home.
Thankfully, the only thing I had to do today was to be ready to be picked up at 12. Brian drove Eric, Kay and I to Newton and to the Duke of Wellington for lunch.
Last time I was there was years ago, when it had just opened and the meal took forever to arrive. Not so today. It’s a lovely place to eat and the service was very quick. The waiters and waitresses worked very hard.
We had a good chat while we ate. I went straight to bed and to sleep when I was home.
The snowdrops have popped up all around the garden. It was very sunny today but I like the way they light up dark corners.
I downloaded my images, but have not started to look at them yet!
