Back in “her” bed
While I am away my bedroom is off limits for the cats. Daisy hates this, because she considers my bed to be hers.
From my arrival home yesterday, she was on my knee or on my bed. I think she has doubled her weight in my absence. (I have enjoyed sleeping without a dead weight on my legs!)
I was asleep just after 8pm, woke at midnight for tea and again at 5. Here we are at 8am and Daisy looks set to stay for the day.
I visited Aldi for fresh fruit, veg, salmon and chicken.
Then I went to Corbridge to see Margret. I was pleased to see that she is coping with the care home regime. She was on the bed doing exercises when I arrived.
We had a good chat. Margret and Guy lived in Kenya when their children were young so she knows a lot about Africa.
I have done a couple of loads of washing. One pair of trousers has not given up the dark sand colour and will need some scrubbing I think!
I have not even downloaded my images yet. My brain needs time to process all the experiences of the last fortnight.
Joan tells me that Oscar and Daisy snuggled up together in a big cat bed while I was away. They have not done this since they were kittens. I feel bad that Daisy has abandoned Oscar again.
