Diary of an Edinburgher

Galway

OK. Hands up. Hands up those who assumed I'd forgotten an important doo-dackie and couldn't blip? Wrong. Just no internet access at my cousin's house. And even if there had been, we were so busy from morn till night, I would not have had time to blip.

Today we drove down from Belfast to Galway, which is a long long drive. We came via Enniskillen and Sligo. I'm pleased with the accommodation I found, which is the university campus. It's on the road out of Galway that we'll take in the morning, so very handy.

When we booked in here, the courtesy bus was just about to leave so we hopped on it and had a wander down town.

Well, Saturday night I suspect isn't the best time for a quiet poke around. It was mobbed! However, we managed to find a wee fish 'n' chip shop and had a cuppa. The pubs were packed to the gunnels, so that first Guinness will have to wait till tomorrow- just too tired tonight.

Have back blipped the other two days, if you care to look. An early night beckons. I'm cream crackered!
