First high up drone photo

I'm cheating a bit, as this was taken last night.
Yesterday before we went to the Chinese buffet restaurant, my friend Adam wanted to see my new drone in flight. In the last 30 mins of daylight, he encouraged me to send it up higher than I had before. This is from around 60m up from our front garden - looking towards the centre of our village.
You can even see the smoke from some of the chimneys.

My heart was going like a good un flying it up there. I just went up and hovered, while turning the drone round to take video and photos. Then brought it straight down to more or less the same spot. I didn't want to risk flying it horizontally in case it came down in a neighbouring garden.

We've not had much clear weather like this lately.

The restaurant was OK last night, but a bit too noisy. So conversation was a bit of challenge. But we got a hefty discount and at least Mme MB didn't have to do any cooking.

This morning I sent the lesson notes to our friend's daughter (the friends who were with us at the restaurant), as I gave her a lesson at 4pm. Then home made crêpes and a chat before we headed out.
