Watching Paint Dry

Actually we've not got to that stage yet. A combination of a rather popular 2 for 1 offer on Crown paints in B&Q leaving just one tin of each colour and a, er, discussion on which particular subtle shade of white we each preferred kept us from actually buying any. Heathcliffe's Castle was definitely my favourite shade name today though, I wanted it just for that!

Whilst we were away in Whitby, Pete installed a log burner, new fireplace surround/hearth and had laid a wooden floor throughout the downstairs. We have to paper and paint and we're all sorted with a completely different living area.

All we need to do is buy some paint now.

The trip out wasn't all all for nothing though - we got some handles for the new doors. Living the dream folks, living the dream.
