Could It Be?
We watched in horror as another plane plummeted to earth last night. And how tragic was it that the passenger was a young girl who was heading home after receiving life saving treatment at Shriner’s Hospital. So much sadness. As we get the names of the previous crash victims, we learn some were from our county. One young man had been on a bowling team with my niece. I pray they find them all so their families can have a proper good-bye. Yesterday was rainy and gray. What a relief it was to see the sun this morning. I found new energy. After feeding the birds, I gathered and got rid of spent asters in one garden. Some of the mulch had washed onto the sidewalk. It’s back in the garden. Empty seed hulls are gone from the back porch, etc. Just for the heck of it, I moved our grill on the patio forward and discovered some daffodils are peeking out of the ground. What a welcome sight! Hubby was just as industrious. He put away the cresch that was finally drying out. We both accomplished just as much inside. After lunch, we took a nap. We are heading to Mass and then may reward ourselves with dinner out. Wishing you a reason for small celebrations amongst the tragedies of life. Stay safe.
