Salmon must be feeling a bit better

Up earlier than planned, the very frosty morning warranted an extra big bowl of porridge and then some quality tea drinking and settee lazing, during which I almost went back to bed. But I got myself together, made another cup of tea and put the not-new-at-all, borrowed-from-parents bread maker on and let it do its thing.

That was the perfect time to spend an hour or so video yakking with lovely bestie. It might easily have become two hours but for my doorbell going. Mum and Dad stopped by, having been out gallivanting in their car, and they wanted to see the bread I was making! It had a while to go though, so we headed out to Cibo for lunch. My salmon was absolutely amazing.

Back home after a quick nip round Lidl, my house had that lovely bakery smell, with one big (almost too big) brown loaf all done. We chatted for a while longer, drank coffee, and then they went home and I lost myself doing artwork on the computer until gone teatime. Yesterday's pasta hit the spot.

The pain has been noticeably less today, although I nearly overdid it putting my shopping away. Another few days should hopefully see me on the mend.
