General Post Ophice Phriday

Another morning of taking it very easy, a bit of square-eyed further eBaying because I needed another plastic box for voltmeterage purposes, and then suddenly it was lunchtime.

I took a walk to the shop again to see if they had any bargains, which mostly they didn't, and had a slightly longer walk home.  Definitely a little bit less twingey-sore than yesterday although it might be the painkillers.

I found this Type-5 GPO utility cover dated from 1970.  I assume that it must be a very late "GPO" cover since the organisation officially became the Post Office in 1969 and had its own telecommunications department.
