TULIPS

Heads of red, stems of green
Tulips which once stood proud and tall
Now just droop and fall 
                                         NH.

On another grey and pretty cold day once up, bathed and dressed and a few jobs done I did a bit more in my Nature Journal to see off January and these Tulips are a rendition of my Blip on the 28th. I see that on that day it was also a grey and dismal one, but weatherwise only as I enjoyed a lovely morning with friends L&J, drinking coffee and warm as toast in front of the log burner, planning lots to do this year.

Now it's a brand new month and ever closer to Spring.
