Morning visitor
I saw a flash of pointed wing and knew he was in chase mode. Fortunately the tit managed to get into the shrubbery before he could pounce. After a few moments on the fence post, after I'd picked up my camera, changed my shoes, opened the conservatory door and stepped outside, he flew off.
He landed on the roof of the neighbours a couple of doors down and stayed there eyeing up potential prey.
JJ went out to golf with the grandson so I wrapped up warm and did a circuit of the estate and checked how the snowdrops were doing in the wood. I didn't venture far into the wood because it's waterlogged but I could see they were just starting to bloom. I doubt they've survived on the main drag because the old narrow path is now fifteen feet wide, or five metres to those of you who have converted.
I am now going to watch the rugby and do a bit more of my Padstow in the snow jigsaw.
